This policy explains what personal information PREP Technologies ("we", "us") collects through prep-technologies.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and collect as little as we can.

Who we are

PREP Technologies is a web, software and AI company based in India. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy by email or on WhatsApp.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in and the message you write.
• WhatsApp and email: anything you choose to send us when you message us directly.
• Cookie choices: a small cookie that remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies.
• Technical data: like any website, our server records basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a plan or quote, and deliver the work you ask for (to take steps before a contract, or to perform one).
• To keep the website secure and working (our legitimate interest).
• To remember your cookie choice (your consent).
• To meet legal, tax and accounting duties when you become a client.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services we need to run the website and reply to you:

• our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its data;
• Google, which delivers our email (Gmail) and serves the fonts used on this site (Google Fonts);
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you contact us there.

We may also share information if the law requires it. Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in India and the United States. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not turn into a project for up to 24 months, then delete them. For clients, we keep project and billing records for as long as the law requires, usually up to 8 years. Server logs are kept for a short time only.

Cookies

We use cookies that the site needs to work and one that stores your cookie choice. Optional cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings button on the site, or clear cookies in your browser.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, Indian law or US state laws such as the CCPA), you can ask us to:

• see the personal information we hold about you;
• correct or delete it;
• restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent;
• give you a copy in a portable format.

Send us an email and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
